A Note on Self-Hosting
Why not self-host?
There are open-source tools that work—and we respect the community that builds them. But they require running a home server, configuring DNS, and maintaining software updates.
Tech Endure is for people who want to just press the button and hear their music. No terminal. No server rack. No maintenance.

Is Tech Endure affiliated with Bose?
No. Tech Endure is an independent company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Bose Corporation in any way. We build replacement cloud infrastructure for discontinued services.
Which SoundTouch models are supported?
We’ve tested extensively on the SoundTouch 20 and are currently testing the SoundTouch 10. We’re validating support for the SoundTouch 300, Portable, SA-5 amplifier, and Lifestyle systems. Coverage details will be updated as testing completes.
Do I need a computer after initial setup?
No. The setup tool runs once on a Windows or Mac computer to configure your speaker. After that, your speaker connects directly to our cloud—no computer needed.
Will my streaming services still work?
Pandora, TuneIn, and Spotify will continue to work through our replacement cloud. You can browse your stations, assign them to presets, and control playback through our app.
Amazon Music is not supported due to Amazon's closed third-party API — this is an Amazon restriction, not a Tech Endure limitation. Local sources (AirPlay, Bluetooth, AUX) are unaffected and work as they always have.
What happens if Tech Endure shuts down?
Lifetime license holders receive a full refund if we shut down within the first 12 months. We’re building this to last, but we believe in standing behind our commitment.
What are the pricing options?
We offer one household plan with two payment options: $7.99/month (cancel anytime) or $69.99/year (save more than 25%). Both cover every SoundTouch device in your household. A limited number of lifetime licenses are planned and will be available to customers who have been on a paid plan for at least 90 days.
What if I can’t use the setup tool?
We offer a USB fallback method for situations where the network setup tool doesn’t work. Detailed instructions are provided in your account after signup. Need more assistance? Simply contact our support team.
